We are seeking experienced, polished, and dependable Banquet Servers to join our professional hospitality team as we prepare for a busy event season.
Our venue hosts upscale weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, galas, and other high-end functions. We are looking for hospitality professionals who understand that exceptional service is about more than simply delivering food it's about anticipating guest needs, maintaining impeccable presentation, and creating a seamless experience from beginning to end.

What You'll Do
- Provide polished, attentive, and professional service throughout weddings, corporate events, galas, private celebrations, and other catered functions.
- Execute proper banquet service, including plated dinners, passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet service, cocktail receptions, and beverage service.
- Set, maintain, and break down tables, service stations, dining areas, and event spaces according to venue standards.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper service etiquette and presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready service area throughout the event.
- Communicate effectively with banquet captains, managers, culinary staff, bartenders, fellow servers, and other event personnel.
- Follow event-specific instructions, menus, seating arrangements, and service timelines.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and basic beverage service.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Handle high-volume service calmly, efficiently, and professionally.
- Represent the venue with professionalism, discretion, and genuine hospitality at all times.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of professional banquet, catering, hotel, fine-dining, or high-volume restaurant serving experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional food and beverage service.
- Strong understanding of banquet etiquette and steps of service.
- Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
- Ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift/carry approximately 25 40 lbs.
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event dates as scheduled.
Preferred:
- Experience working weddings, galas, corporate events, luxury hotels, country clubs, private clubs, or high-end catering venues.
- Experience with plated/fine-dining service.
- Experience with tray-passed hors d oeuvres.
- Experience carrying multiple plates or serving large parties.
- Familiarity with banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Wine, champagne, cocktail, and formal beverage-service experience.
- Previous experience working as a banquet captain, lead server, or event server.
Availability
We are specifically looking for candidates who can provide recurring availability during our busy season.
Priority will be given to applicants who are available for:
- Friday evenings
- Saturdays
- Sundays
- Weekday events when available
- Holiday and peak-season events
- Multiple events/shifts throughout the month
Applicants seeking occasional one-time shifts are welcome to apply, but we are prioritizing dependable professionals interested in becoming part of our regular event staff.
