Sheet Metal Mechanic | Duct Installer | Harrisburg, PA
TradeWorX is hiring Sheet Metal Mechanics and Duct Installers for upcoming commercial HVAC work in the Harrisburg, PA area. Experienced mechanics, duct installers, helpers, apprentices, and mechanically inclined candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be reviewed based on experience level, tool knowledge, jobsite readiness, and fit for upcoming project needs.

Pay & Overtime:
$28.00–$32.00/hour for experienced candidates based on skill level, experience, and interview. Pay may vary by role fit, project needs, and verified experience. Overtime may be available based on project schedules.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday. Typical day shift schedule. Hours may vary by project. Upcoming commercial HVAC and sheet metal opportunities are expected in the market.
Job Duties:
- Install commercial ductwork, hangers, supports, and related HVAC components
- Assist with rectangular duct, spiral duct, flex connections, transitions, and field-fit sections
- Support layout, measuring, cutting, assembly, and installation of duct systems
- Work around other trades on active commercial jobsites
- Maintain production pace while following jobsite safety expectations
- Assist with cleanup, material handling, staging, and jobsite readiness as needed
Requirements:
- Commercial duct, sheet metal, HVAC install, mechanical, construction, or related experience preferred
- Helpers and developing candidates considered if mechanically inclined and reliable
- Ability to follow direction, work safely, and show up consistently
- Basic hand tools, reliable transportation, and PPE preferred
- Ability to work from layouts or drawings is a plus
- Must be open to commercial jobsite work and upcoming project assignments

- Experienced sheet metal mechanic, duct installer, HVAC installer, or developing helper
- Reliable, safety-focused, and ready to work on commercial jobsites
- Comfortable with hands-on work, measuring, fitting, fastening, and installing materials
- Interested in building experience and staying connected for upcoming work
- Able to communicate availability, skill level, and travel limits clearly
