Mooresville Magnera is hiring experienced Slitter Operators for day and night shifts! 
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate slitter equipment to cut product to required width and diameter
  • Follow all safety procedures and company operating standards
  • Review work orders and verify machine settings, recipes, and knife alignment
  • Perform startup, visual, and audio checks to ensure efficient operation
  • Monitor quality, conduct inspections, and address quality or equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot slitter and knife‑related problems as needed
  • Communicate effectively with line operators, lab, and production leadership
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
 

Required Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Demonstrate knowledge/experience operating a Slitter
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to complete required training, certifications, and safety programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
  • Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift‑certified (company‑paid training provided)
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience working with industrial equipment
  • Basic computer skills for data entry or production tracking
  • Experience working in a team‑based environment
