Tax Accountant (Public Accounting)
Location: Broomall, PA

We're partnered with an independent Pennsylvania CPA firm providing tax, accounting, audit, and business advisory services to mid-market, family-owned businesses across Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks counties, and Philadelphia. The Senior Tax Accountant prepares and reviews complex tax returns, advises clients directly on tax matters, and provides senior-level support to the firm's tax practice.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for a mix of business and individual clients
• Research tax questions and advise clients directly on tax planning and compliance issues
• Perform financial reviews and compilations under the supervision of a manager
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and other special-purpose frameworks
• Perform bookkeeping functions for clients, including monthly close
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 2–4 years of public accounting experience in tax
• CPA license or actively pursuing
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, and CCH Axcess Engagement
• Strong workpaper documentation and client communication skills
• Ability to work independently with senior-level autonomy
