Experienced Stainless Steel Grinder

Penmac Staffing is hiring an Experienced Stainless Steel Grinder for a local manufacturing client in Springfield, MO. This is a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented candidate with stainless steel grinding experience. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints and producing high-quality finishes on pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel tanks and equipment.Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of stainless steel grinding experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Experience using hand grinders and finishing tools preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Grind and finish pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel tanks and components to specifications
• Remove imperfections and prepare surfaces for final production stages
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Safely operate grinders and other finishing equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Communicate production issues or concerns to supervisors as needed
• Assist with additional manufacturing and production tasks as assigned

Schedule and Pay

• Full-time
• Monday - Thursday
• 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Some overtime available on Fridays
• $19.50+ per hour/DOE
