About the Opportunity
Our client is supporting a wide range of commercial and technology-driven projects across San Antonio, including office buildouts, healthcare facilities, education campuses, and data environments. From entry-level helpers to lead technicians, every role plays a part in building reliable communication systems.

What You ll Do
Helper / Level I (0 2 years):
Pull, route, and label Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cable
Install support structures like J-hooks, bridle rings, and cable tray
Assist with basic terminations and device installation
Follow direction from lead techs and learn industry standards
Level II Technicians (2 4 years):
Perform terminations on 110/66 blocks, patch panels, and jacks
Install and dress cable in IDF/MDF environments
Read blueprints and determine cable pathways
Conduct basic to intermediate testing and troubleshooting
Lead small crews on focused scopes of work
Level III / Lead Technicians (5+ years):
Lead crews on large-scale structured cabling projects
Perform advanced copper and fiber testing and certification (Fluke, OTDR)
Handle rack and stack, system layout, and project planning
Interpret prints, manage materials, and oversee quality control
Assist with site surveys, as-builts, and project documentation

Qualifications Who You Are
Experience in commercial structured cabling (level dependent)
Familiar with TIA/EIA standards and installation best practices
Ability to pull, terminate, test, and troubleshoot cabling systems (based on level)
Comfortable working in active commercial construction environments
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
BICSI certification is a plus (Installer/Technician)
OSHA 10/19 preferred
