Seeking an Experienced Substation Electrical Engineer for our Billings, MT office to support power and energy substation projects.
Provides technical guidance in planning, design, and construction of utility transmission and distribution substations, including physical, protection, and control designs.
Responsibilities include data analysis, design development (diagrams, layouts, grounding, lightning protection), equipment selection, site verification, and technical documentation.
Supports project scoping, design reviews, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, NESC), and proficiency with design software.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and EIT certification. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and committed to safety and quality standards.
