What you will do
#183; Tool Maker
#183; Read and interpret engineering drawings, die designs, and GDamp;T
#183; Build, assemble, and debug progressive dies and advanced tooling
#183; Operate manual machines (mill, grinder, lathe, drill press) safely and accurately
#183; Perform die tryouts, repairs, sharpening, and maintenance
#183; Inspect tooling and parts using precision measuring instruments
#183; Recommend tooling improvements and document changes
#183; Mentor Tool amp; Die Maker I amp; II employees
#183; Follow all safety and compliance requirements
Requirements
#183; High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in tool amp; die making preferred
#183; 5+ years of experience in tool amp; die making with strong manufacturing background
#183; Familiarity with CAD software for die design or modification
#183; Experience with manual machining, advanced die assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting
Physical Requirements:
#183; Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently during shifts
#183; Regularly lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
#183; Strong vision, dexterity, and focus for detailed precision work
#183; Physical and mental stamina to perform repetitive tasks safely and effectively
