Job Summary

The Trim Carpenter is responsible for installing interior and exterior finish components in modular home units during the manufacturing process. Working in an indoor plant environment, this role ensures that trim work meets quality standards, design specifications, and production timelines. The Trim Carpenter plays a key role in delivering a polished, move-in-ready product in a team environment.

Work Schedule & Benefits

• Full-time schedule, standard first shift hours Monday–Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
• Paid Time off after 90 days

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install interior trim components including baseboards, door and window casing and crown molding. 
• Measure, cut, fit, and secure trim materials using hand and power tools.
• Perform finish work to meet appearance, fit, and quality standards.
• Read and follow work instructions, layouts, and basic blueprints.
• Coordinate work with framing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing teams.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area and follow safety standards.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Prior construction or framing experience required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a team-based production environment.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work indoors in a warehouse environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
