Role Description The Experienced Veterinary Reception role is a full-time, on-site position based at Bloomingrove Veterinary Hospital in Rensselaer, NY. This role focuses on greeting clients and patients, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a smooth flow of appointments throughout the day. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, processing payments, and accurately entering and updating client and patient information in practice management software. The veterinary receptionist also helps coordinate prescription refills and medical records requests, supports the clinical team with client communication, and maintains a clean, organized reception area. This position requires a calm, professional demeanor, especially when handling urgent situations or emotionally sensitive conversations with clients.
