At North Torrington Veterinary Hospital, we treat every pet as part of our family. From routine checkups to advanced diagnostics and surgery, we are here to keep our patients happy, healthy, and thriving, with a focus on comfort, trust, and lasting relationships. We are currently looking for an Experienced Part-Time Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
Qualifications
preferably 3 or more years' experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not .
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
Collect lab samples and maintainaccurate patient records.
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
Pay Range: $22.00- $28.00, based on experience
