Experienced Welder

We are seeking a skilled, safety-conscious Welder in Youngstown, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Hours
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday through Saturday, flexibility required

Pay
$19.00 per hour, with bonus and overtime opportunities

Key Responsibilities
  • Reading and understanding blueprints and job specifications
  • Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
  • Welding materials using the correct processes to join metals together
  • Operating 4" and 9" grinders for extended periods
  • Checking finished work to ensure it falls within required tolerances
  • Preparing metals and work surfaces for safe and effective assembly
  • Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools
  • Adhering to all safety rules and maintaining a clean work area

Minimum Requirements
  • Ability to correctly read a tape measure
  • Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience
  • Minimum 6 months of flux core/dual shield welding experience
  • Ability to perform manual labor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace
  • Willingness to learn company processes
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions
  • Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in manufacturing, steel mills, or industrial environments
  • Welding certifications or additional technical skills

Preferred Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant welding experience in industrial settings

Other Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, move, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Physical ability to work safely around machinery and production equipment
