Experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) – PRN (W-2)

Compensation: $65–$68 per hour


Position Summary

Noir Well Health is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our community-centered outpatient practice in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based women’s healthcare in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient-focused, and dedicated to improving health outcomes for women across the lifespan.

Current practice needs include coverage on one dedicated weekday and/or every other Saturday. Clinical schedules will be based on patient demand and practice needs.


Minimum Qualifications

• Current New York State Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license
• Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 3,600 hours of prior qualifying NP practice experience required
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance required. Providers will also be added to the practice’s professional liability policy, as applicable.
• Current DEA registration preferred, but not required
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive women’s health assessments and annual wellness examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
• Provide preventive care, cervical cancer screenings, STI screening and treatment, contraception counseling, menopause management, and patient education
• Order, interpret, and manage appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete electronic medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, coordinated patient care
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies and standards of practice
