Seeking an entry-level or near entry-level Experimental Facility Operator with electrical/mechanical skills to support a liquid metal research facility (METL).
Responsibilities include operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting experimental systems, mainly involving liquid sodium and other complex equipment.
Assist in designing and testing electronic systems, developing mechanical/apparatus components, and supporting research activities.
Requirements include experience with instrumentation, mechanical and electrical systems, and familiarity with industry standards.
Liquid metal handling training will be provided.
The role may involve shift work, and candidates will be placed at ST3 or ST4 level based on experience, with corresponding pay ranges.
Strong communication and safety awareness are essential.
