Expert Product Strategy Lead

Pay Rate: $90 - $100 per hour

Summary:

• Join a high-performing team focused on transforming the electric grid into a smarter system.
• Engage in innovative projects within the Strategy & Innovation division.
• Occasional travel to other company facilities may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Track, coordinate, and manage the Innovation Accelerator Product Portfolio.
• Lead strategy for Grid Edge AMI 2.0 in partnership with the Customer Organization.
• Create executive presentations to relay progress and recommendations.
• Ensure cohesion across product initiatives for a platform approach.
• Drive strategic initiatives and stand up AMI 2.0 projects.
• Form a Grid Edge Consortium between utilities, meter vendors, and device providers.
• Handle executive-level problem-solving or exploratory requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 8 years of job-related experience in energy, products, strategy, or finance.
• Experience with strategy, business case creation, and management of a portfolio of solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience inside and outside of the utility industry.
• Knowledge of Distributed Energy Resources, consumer energy products, or product development.
• Experience leading cross-cutting programs or technology deployments.
• Chief of staff or management experience.
• Strong ability to ideate both linearly and non-linearly.
• Empathic and curious with a focus on shared outcomes.
