Expo - Part Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and fast-paced Expeditor (Expo) to act as the key link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. The Expo ensures that all orders are prepared accurately, plated properly, and delivered promptly, helping maintain a smooth and efficient service flow. This is a temporary position with up to 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the flow of orders between the kitchen and service staff
• Ensure all food is prepared according to order specifications and presentation standards
• Check plates for accuracy, quality, and completeness before they leave the kitchen
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service
• Organize tickets and prioritize orders during high-volume periods
• Assist in garnishing and final plate presentation when needed
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed
• Help maintain a clean and organized expo line and kitchen pass area
• Support team members as needed to ensure efficient restaurant operations

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required
