Our client is hiring an Export Documentation Specialist in the Spring, TX area!
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process export documentation for international shipments via ocean, air, and ground transportation.
Prepare and review commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and other required shipping documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments, customers, vendors, freight forwarders, and other external partners to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time.
Review shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain organized records and files related to international shipments.
Assist with monitoring invoices and ensuring timely processing of payments.
Help ensure shipments comply with applicable export regulations and documentation requirements.
Coordinate the procurement, packing, and shipment of product samples.
Assist with documentation and logistics related to trade shows and other company events.
Provide administrative and logistical support to the international sales team as needed.
Requirements
25 years of experience in logistics, export documentation, international shipping, or a related field.
Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Business, or a related field preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Experience working with an ERP, transportation management, or logistics system preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in an environment that involves regular interaction with warehouse operations.
Ability to lift, move, and pack boxes weighing up to approximately 30 lbs.
