UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care, and specialty care. Job Details ----------------

• 3 FTE
• 1-12 hour shift per week
• Viking road location with 2 providers
• Concierge urgent care model
• Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year
• Weekend and holiday rotation: 1 weekend every three weeks
• Required to work 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday
• No call requirements
• Work with experienced staff
• No appointments necessary
• Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities -------------------

• Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
• Excellent assessment skills
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Provide high-quality care to all ages
• Offers select diagnostic tests, x-ray, lab, etc.
• Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow-up care, and educate patients

Qualifications -----------------

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
