Job Summary:

Primary job duty will be to provide direct patient care at Sacramento, Folsom or Roseville Express Care outpatient clinic location providing same day access for patients. Express Care physicians do not manage a patient panel and have minimal inbox responsibilities. As a physician with UC Davis Health you will have access to Epic as the EMR and AI scribe, Abridge.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted CA Medical License
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or license eligible
• Board certified in Family Medicine
• Successful completion of US Family Medicine Residency Program
• Ability to access, understand, and use health information and services to make appropriate health decisions, this includes understanding medical terminology and instructions for medications and treatments
• Ability to communicate health concerns, ask questions, and clearly communicate needs and preferences to healthcare providers
• Skills and knowledge to manage chronic conditions and implement healthy lifestyle practices
• Understand how to use the healthcare system, schedule appointments, and access resources effectively
• Capacity to participate in decisions about patients' healthcare by collaborating with providers and understanding treatment options and their implications

Position Information:

• Salary $331,000

• Percentage of Time: 80-100

• Shift (Work Schedule): 4 - 9 hour shifts and 1 - 4 hour shift per week. The scheduled days will be Tuesday - Saturday, half day on Saturday.

Tuesday-Friday hours - (10:00-7:30 or 9:30-7:00 )

Saturday hours - 9:00-1:00

Work Environment:
