The Express Claims Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in driving team performance and operational excellence within Tesla Insurance. Primary responsibilities include managing and developing a team of high-performing claims adjusters, while driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement-all while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. In doing so, you will directly support Tesla's mission: accelerating the growth of Tesla Insurance and helping more customers get behind the wheel of a Tesla vehicle.
Continuously develop talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and acquire new skills. Proactively assist in selecting top talent, deliver ongoing coaching, and recognize employees to reinforce behaviors that ensure service excellence
Promote claims customer service excellence by building empathy and passion for a customer experience that meets or exceeds expectations
Analyze problematic trends, take corrective steps to prevent recurrence, and escalate issues when necessary
Promote a culture focused on identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve work completion and overall team performance
Support and guide team members in handling claims effectively, both individually and collaboratively in a team atmosphere
Minimum 1 year of prior auto claims supervisor experience or 1 year of experience as a Senior Claims adjuster at Tesla
Strong passion for customer advocacy and team development
Strong supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience with handling property damage claims
Ability to complete work effectively both individually and in a team atmosphere
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and implement sustainable solutions
Onsite presence required every day
