BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND RELATED TOOLS/EQUIPMENT

THIS POSITION STARTS AT $17.00/HR WITH POTENTIAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

SCHEDULE WILL BE M-F/9:00-6:00, EVERY 4TH SAT/8:00-5:00. YOU WILL HAVE FRIDAY OFF THE WEEK YOU WORK A SATURDAY.

Responsibilities
  • Perform express service and light repairs on customer vehicles
  • Conduct multi-point inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed express services and repairs
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates
  • Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
  • Use and maintain dearlership-provided tools and equipment proper operating condition
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of automotive technology and related tools/equipment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Some automotive technology preferred
  • Prior automotive service experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
