Extended Care

St. Matthew School is seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Extended Care employees for the 2026-2027 school year. We have flexible part-time opportunities available in our before and after school Extended Care program.

Available schedules include:

• Before School: 6:30-8:30 a.m.
• After School: 3:45-5:30 p.m.
• Optional Additional Hours: 2:30-5:30 p.m. for candidates interested in supporting our 4K classroom prior to Extended Care.

We are flexible in structuring this position and welcome applicants interested in working before school, after school, or both. Candidates seeking additional hours are encouraged to apply for the combined 4K classroom support and Extended Care position. Candidates can choose which days of the week work best for them, if they are unavailable 5 days per week.

The ideal candidate will create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students, supervise a variety of age groups, assist with activities and routines, communicate effectively with staff and families, and support the mission of Catholic education.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate''s or bachelor''s degree in Education or a related field preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently and collaboratively
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
