Extended Care Teacher (NE) (Part-time) (2026-2027) - St. Joseph School, Cockeysville MD

The ʺAfter Careʺ program at St. Joseph School in Cockeysville is seeking staff for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will have experience working with students who are 4-13 years of age. Job responsibilities include supervising students during free play/outdoor play, planning age-appropriate activities, arts and crafts, and assisting with homework help. The hours are Monday-Friday, 3-6 pm. Half days are 11:45 - 6 pm. Please contact Kammeran Giggers at kgiggers@sjpray.org for information.

Essential Functions

• Implement a program of instruction that adheres to the goals and objectives of the program.
• Make observations, collect data, and give input to the Director.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour childcare certification.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• An appreciation for young students and their families.
• Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.

Pay Range:  $19, Hourly
