Rocky Hill High School has an opening for a Percussion Instructor.

(Work schedule includes summer band camp, evenings & Saturdays)

Instruct the Rocky Hill High School Front Ensemble for the 2026-2027 season. Attend 2 week band camp, Tuesday and Thursday night rehearsals, and Saturday

competitions from September to November. Collaborate with other marching band staff members and band director.

The Rocky Hill High School Royal Blues Marching Band is looking for a front ensemble teacher for our summer band camp and for the fall marching band season.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate about percussion, and capable of fitting in with an already established team-oriented band staff. We are

looking for someone that can teach mallet and concert percussion to students with varying abilities ranging from grades 8-12. Our pit traditionally has approximately ten members, and includes marimba, vibes, xylophone, malletstations, guitar, bass and an auxiliary rack. Marching band and drum corps experience preferred.

Anticipated stipend for position: $1,350
