The Student Services Department is now accepting applications for summer employment in the Extended School Year program (ESY).
We are seeking 1-2 special educators certified in Orton-Gillingham and/or Wilson to provide small-group reading instruction during our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Teachers will deliver targeted intervention aligned with students'' IEP goals and collaborate with ESY staff to support student progress.

Pay Rates: $204.15 per day for teachers and related service providers;
Educators who are instructors in APS summer programs are eligible to enroll their child(ren) in Arlington Community Ed's SummerFun! during the weeks they are teaching. You may enroll your elementary-aged child (grades 1-5, Fall '26) at a 75% discount for non-vendor classes and 30% discount for vendor classes. Materials fees and some classes are excluded.
