We are seeking skilled Exterior Finish Carpenters with experience in custom residential construction. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to perform high-quality exterior finish work safely and efficiently.

Requirements 

• Minimum of 4 years of exterior carpentry and residential construction experience  
• Experience with exterior siding, trim, soffit, fascia, decking, waterproofing details, and exterior finishes  
• Ability to read and interpret plans, elevations, and construction drawings  
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools including Skilsaw, miter saw, routers, nail guns, and levels  
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred  
• Must provide a basic set of hand tools  
• Ability to work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces  
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks  
• Valid California Drivers License and reliable transportation  
• Professional appearance and conduct; punctual and dependable  
• Strong understanding of job site safety and OSHA compliance  
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required  

Responsibilities 

• Install exterior siding including wood, composite, and specialty exterior materials  
• Install exterior trim, fascia, soffits, rake trim, window trim, and decorative exterior details  
• Install exterior doors, weather barriers, flashing, and waterproofing components  
• Read and follow plans, elevations, and finish details accurately  
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials to precise specifications  
• Perform layout and installation of exterior finish systems  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment  
• Work closely with Foremen, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades  
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project timelines  
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment  
• Assist with punch-list items and exterior detail corrections as needed  
• Work overtime when required to meet project deadlines
