Job Title: External Field Support Engineer
Skill: Band 2 DSS Support
Duration: 3–6 Months
Location: Clifton, NJ
Start: Immediate (Post-BGV)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle L1 escalations and resolve complex IT issues across multiple sites
  • Provide support for desktops/laptops, Windows/Mac OS, Outlook, Teams, and basic networking
  • Perform IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change) and OS deployments
  • Support LAN/WAN, VoIP systems, imaging devices, and lab instruments
  • Maintain ServiceNow tickets with proper documentation and updates
  • Participate in IT projects, migrations, and hardware/software rollouts
  • Manage IT assets including provisioning, tracking, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Coordinate with teams, vendors, and stakeholders for issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, OS, networking basics)
  • Knowledge of ITIL and ServiceNow
  • Good communication and customer handling skills
  • Ability to work independently in field environments
  • Willingness for on-call support and flexible hours
  • Valid driver’s license required
