Are you a seasoned professional in the Accounting and Finance industry with a knack for external reporting? We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent External Reporting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of external financial reporting, including GAAP, Statutory Accounting Principles, and Insurance reporting requirements. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent External Reporting Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing the preparation and review of all external financial reports, including quarterly and annual reports, in compliance with GAAP, Statutory Accounting Principles, and Insurance reporting requirements.
2. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statement preparation, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Managing the audit process and liaising with external auditors to ensure all financial reporting is compliant with relevant regulations.
4. Utilizing your knowledge of the Bluebook to manage and oversee all aspects of insurance reporting.
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with reinsurance partners and managing the fronting agreement process.
6. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
7. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent External Reporting Manager role, you must possess the following:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles.
3. Proven experience in insurance reporting requirements and financial statement preparation.
4. Extensive knowledge of the Bluebook and experience with fronting agreement processes.
5. Exceptional audit skills, with the ability to manage the audit process effectively and efficiently.
6. Strong relationships with reinsurance partners, with a proven track record of successful collaboration.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
10. High proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
