      Extruder Inspector (Afternoon Shift 3p-11pm)
       
      Summary/Objective
      This position ensures the set up and quality of products through thorough assessment and analyses using specific procedural standards.
       
      Essential Functions

      1. Performs inspections of company products to determine conformance with specifications.
      2. Utilizes standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and measuring devices.
      3. Processes associated documentation, including process tags, rework tags and nonconforming material documents.
      4. Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
      Required Education and Experience
      1. HS Diploma or GED
      2. Math and Computer Skills
      3. Hand Tools and Measuring Devices (micrometer, tape measure)
      4. Forklift Experience
      5. Demonstration good communication skills

      Work Environment
      While performing the duties of this job in a manufacturing setting, the employee is frequently exposed to heat and moving mechanical parts.
       
      Physical Demands
      The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
      The employee must stand 8-12 hours per day and is occasionally required to bend, squat, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds. 
       
      Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
      This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift.  Additional hours during the week or on weekends may be required according to production demands.  
       
      Supervisory Responsibility
      This position requires no supervisory responsibility.
       
      Travel
      No travel is expected for this position.

      Pay
      $16.00 base rate plus $1.00 shift differential
