Extruder Operator

We are looking for a skilled Extruder Operator to join our team clients in Norton, OH. If you have experience working with extrusion machinery and are eager to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

This role involves operating single and twin screw extruders to produce high-quality products using Nylon and other engineering-grade resins. You'll be part of a team that ensures efficient material handling, troubleshooting, and packaging. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a stable, full-time position on 2nd or 3rd shift.

 


Hours:

• 2nd Shift, 3:00pm-11:00pm
• 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7am

Pay:

• $18.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate single and twin screw extruders for Nylon and other resins
• Measure and weigh materials with scales, hoppers, tippers, and forklifts
• Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse
• Package finished products for distribution
• Use forklifts for material handling
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with mechanical knowledge
• Adjust machinery settings using hand tools

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in extrusion operation preferred
• At least 2 years of forklift operation experience
• Proficiency with scales and understanding tare weight
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of materials handling procedures
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with Nylon or engineering resins
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
• Prior extrusion and materials handling experience
