Extruder Operator

Join a growing manufacturing team as an Extruder Operator, where you"ll operate and troubleshoot industrial extrusion equipment while helping produce high-quality plastic products. This is an opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional to apply mechanical and technical skills in a safety-focused environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Set up, operate, and monitor plastic extrusion machinery, making adjustments to maintain production and product quality.
-Inspect equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and process issues, and work with robotic systems, and other automated machinery.
-Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other instruments to verify product dimensions and quality.
-Handle raw materials and support production operations using forklifts and other industrial equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Requirements

-Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment, with knowledge of plastics extrusion or injection molding.
-Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with industrial equipment, including extruders and automated machinery.
-Familiarity with robotic systems, and industrial machine controls.

Preferences

-Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment.
-Experience with lean manufacturing, warehouse operations, blow/injection molding.
-Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Pay Rate Range:$30-35
