Extruder Operators:
Our client, a well-established manufacturing facility in Brunswick, is looking for dependable, hardworking Extruder Operators to join their growing team. These positions play a key role in supporting daily production, helping maintain a safe and efficient operation, and ensuring consistent, high-quality output. Ideal candidates take pride in their work, pay close attention to detail, and bring a strong, reliable work ethic every day.
Shift: Pay:
Safety Requirement First DayOn the first day, candidates will complete a
breathing test that they will be sent to in order to be properly fitted for a
carbon filter mask.
- This mask is required due to occasional exposure to certain industrial materials like Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) used in the facility
- Masks are not worn daily and are typically required for no more than one hour at a time will only be worn when working with MEK
Key Responsibilities: - Operate extrusion and milling equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor machinery, perform basic adjustments, and ensure consistent product quality
- Assist with material handling and general production tasks as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Minimum Requirements: - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Prior experience operating Extruders and Mills is a plus but not a requirement
- Comfortable with wearing a carbon filter mask when required
- Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
- Commitment to following all safety procedures
