 WORK HOURS:    FULL-TIME, 12-HOUR SHIFT 2-2-3

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess math skills for working with and converting fractions and decimals, and for multiplying and dividing
  • Must have excellent attendance and work records
  • Must have the ability to interpret production schedules, operate all quality testing equipment as well as the process equipment as it relates to his/her sphere of operation influence
  • Must have a good mechanical aptitude – hydraulics, mechanics, equipment operations
  • Must have leadership qualities
  • Must possess knowledge of chemicals and material blends
  • Must possess knowledge of extruders and the impacts components have on products
  • High school education preferred
  • Must possess a sound composure
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Plant, exposure to excessive heat, noise

WORK PACE: Fast-paced, must be a self-starter

ESSENTIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • MUST follow all safety rules and regulations set forth by Plaskolite
  • Follow the extrusion schedule and produce quality products at an acceptable rate
  • Complete inspections as required and follow product specifications
  • Peel and grind returns
  • Train and maintain constant communication with Line Operators
  • Operate Quality Assurance equipment
  • Responsible for set up, equipment, and machinery
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Complete all projects and duties as assigned
  • Understand how your job impacts the Quality management system.
