Are You the Operator Everyone Calls When a Line Needs to Perform?

If you enjoy solving mechanical challenges, dialing in process parameters, and keeping quality on target, this on-site manufacturing role is for you. You’ll shape polypropylene vent system components that meet exacting standards—while building your skills on a supportive team.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up, operate, and adjust extrusion lines for consistent, high-quality output
  • Provide clear, timely updates on production rates during shift handoffs
  • Assign and monitor team work orders to keep the schedule on track
  • Own a tidy, efficient work area by applying 5S
  • Conduct daily and weekly preventive maintenance tasks
  • Enter precise production and quality data in the MRP system
  • Track inventory levels and efficiency to reduce waste
  • Follow written work instructions and in-process quality control plans
  • Spot and implement opportunities for continuous improvement

What You Bring

  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
  • Preferred 2–5 years in manufacturing (extrusion, blow molding, injection molding, thermoforming, or comparable)
  • Basic computer proficiency: Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Strong attention to detail; safety-first attitude
  • Clear communicator; comfortable following verbal and written directions
  • Nice-to-have: Plastic/metal welding or fabrication and/or forklift certification

Pay, Hours, and Setting

  • Pay: $21/hr (overtime may be required)
  • Hours: C Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Pattern: Monday–Wednesday, rotating to Monday–Thursday every other week
  • Type: In-person manufacturing/production
