Extrusion Operator - 3rd shift

Doumak, Inc. is The Marshmallow Company.  Founded in 1921, it is a leading producer of marshmallows sold under the Campfire® and Fireside® brands, and for private label.  Our two Chicago-area facilities provide bagged regular and miniature marshmallows for distribution worldwide through wholesale, retail grocery, and food service channels.  

Currently, Bensenville, IL location has the following openings starting at $18.00 hourly rate.

After one year of employment:  $19.00 hourly rate

After two years of employment: $20.00 hourly rate

After three years of employment: $21.00 hourly rate

 After four years of employment: $22.00 hourly rate

***After 5 years of employment full scale

LOCATION:         1006 Fairway, Bensenville, IL  60106

SHIFT:                  3rd SHIFT (10:00 pm to 6:00 am) - Sunday thru Thursday

   POSITION:   Extrusion Operator  (3rd Shift)

The extrusion operator oversees the extrusion process to ensure proper size and crust of product.

All operators assist each other with changeovers, cleanups, and general maintenance of the starch room.

All operators ensure a quality marshmallow is produced and presented to the packaging machines

Requirements: High School diploma; must read and write English and understand basic math, must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds.  Work experience in food manufacturing environment, confectionary preferred. We will train the right person.  Weekend work may be required (overtime and double time pay will apply).  Union Environment

·         Employee is employed by the Company for 6 months, Employee shall receive $500.00

·         Employee is employed by the company for 1 year, Employee shall receive $1,000.00
