Changing of all tooling for production based on production schedule
Maintain all quality standards on shift including the use of dial calipers and micrometers
Labeling of production on each production line
Retrieve all raw materials needed for production
Remove stock from end of extrusion lines for transfer to inventory
Operate forklift from production area to inventory staging area
Keep accurate inventory counts on the production manufactured during the shift
Put away production into warehouse stock racks
Complete daily production logs
Qualifications: Extrusion Operator:
High school degree or vocational/technical school training/GED
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be able to operate in a very safe manner including using all the proper personal protective gear including heat resistant gloves, sleeves and steel toed boots
Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Mechanical aptitude
Able to lift seventy-five pounds
Must be able to operate a forklift
