Extrusion Process Technician

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Process Technician to join our clients team in Wadsworth, OH. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with technical experience in manufacturing equipment operation, looking to advance their career in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will support multiple extrusion machinery, monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with leadership to improve manufacturing efficiency. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced team, we want to hear from you! 



Shift: 
  • 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Monday to Friday 


Pay:
  • $25.00 Per Hour



Key Responsibilities:
  • Start, operate, and troubleshoot key production components including extruder hot runner systems, chiller and thermolater controls, automated paper wrappers, cutters, and packing prep
  • Proactively identify and address production lines at risk of error or incident
  • Provide root cause analysis and advise leadership on systemic issues
  • Troubleshoot multiple mechanical elements of plastic extruder production lines
  • Perform initial startup of plastic extruder production lines



Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience with advanced operation of manufacturing equipment (preferred plastics, but not required)
  • Experience includes line startup and troubleshooting



Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working with extrusion machinery and automation systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols
