TITLE: Extrusion Technician A

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To assist Extruder Technicians with the set-up, changeover, and operation of extrusion lines. This position is responsible for accurately reading and understanding production orders and related documentation, assisting with quality monitoring, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, and supporting efficient production operations. This position requires flexibility to work overtime as needed and to perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or GED equivalent is preferredExperience in a "lean manufacturing environment" preferredKnowledge of and being able to implement 5S initiatives and maintain this initiativeExperience in blown film extrusion is preferredMust successfully complete operator training and testingEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

Ability to work in an environment that is extremely hot, humid, in the summer months, and cold in the winter months.
