JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Must possess math skills for counting, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- Must have excellent attendance and work records
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must possess the ability to read schedules, product information, and technical language
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- High school education preferred
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Plant, Exposure to excessive heat, noise
WORK PACE: Fast-Must maintain pace with the lines; consistent pace is necessary
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Counting and packaging finished products (including quantity)
- Detecting quality defects
- Preventing contamination of material
- Housekeeping in work area, including equipment
- Peeling and grinding plastic
- Following instructions of lead person and help other line operators
- Communicating any maintenance/equipment problems observed
- Follow safety policies
- Complete all projects and duties as assigned
- Firing up sheet lines
- Clean grinders that are under lock-out/tag-out
- Utilize idle time wisely i.e., clean, inquire, assist others
- Understand how your job impacts the ISO-9000 policy
