F-15 Field Service Representative – Singapore

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Field Service Representative Lead to support the F-15 program based at Paya Lebar, Singapore.

This is a Long-Term Assignment to Singapore. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Offers will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit for Singapore. This also applies to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short-notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to):

  • Leads technical field support of company products
  • Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems and specialty coverage
  • Resolves maintenance and operational issues
  • Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues
  • Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures
  • Develops and conducts ad hoc training
  • Function as a liaison between Boeing and the Customer
  • Support maintenance personnel with troubleshooting of various aircraft systems and components
  • Resolve maintenance and operational issues
  • Work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a wide variety of environments
  • Develop excellent relationships across multiple organizations and with all levels of the military customer to ensure customer satisfaction with products and services

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 10 years of F-15 maintenance experience
  • 10+ years of experience maintaining military aircraft
  • 10+ years of experience with reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematics, and diagrams
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including on-call support as needed (including weekends and holidays)
  • 10+ years of experience working within a fast-paced team environment, which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with Leadership or internal and external customer representatives
  • 10+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and/or other specialized computer applications
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License is desirable
  • Field Service Representative (FSR) experience is preferred

Ex-Pat Information:

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
  • Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.
