You will be the F-35 Anomaly & Failure Resolution (AFRS) and Time Compliance Technical Directive(TCTD) Manager- Level 5 reporting to the Senior Manager of F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD)& ADP Technical Publications.

What You Will Be Doing:

As the F-35 Anomaly & Failure Resolution (AFRS) and Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) Manager- Level 5, you will manage a team with disparate skills and tasks, and a Level 4 Manager. Duties include oversight of the F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) team members responsible for a variety of disciplines required to produce and deliver F-35 Technical Publications. You will build, grow, and maintain a strong JTD authoring and scheduling team. Provide personnel assignments, growth opportunities, and productive job experiences. Manage budgets and schedules for estimating, producing, updating, publishing, delivering, and providing quality F-35 AFRS and TCTD data on time and within budget. Provide direction when necessary for problem resolution in AFRS development and TCTD development.

Requires a working knowledge of the F-35 Change Process along with a basic understanding of the contract and proposal estimating sphere. Also requires strong decision-making skills under pressure and the ability to constructively work with multiple E&T and Sustainment Orgs, including Prognostic Health Management (PHM), Modifications Upgrades & Overhauls (MUO), Program Management, and the Program Integration Office. With such a diverse group, skills in Full Spectrum Leadership principals and dealing with different personalities and behaviors is paramount to maintaining a cohesive workforce, given the experience levels of the team members. You must have an ability to interact with team members and the Joint Program Office (JPO) customer based on a rapport that promotes trust and transparency.

Basic Qualifications

• Holds Final DoD Secret clearance prior to start, with ability to gain Access Controlled Area (ACA) clearance
• Experience with Joint Technical Data and/or Technical Order Development systems and goals
• Experience providing estimates, proposals, and/or budgets
• Experience with Aviation Maintenance and/or Operations
• Demonstrated experience in formally leading diverse teams or informally leading project teamwhile resolving internal and external customer issues

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated ability to understand internal and external customer requirements and negotiatesolutions that produce a positive outcome.
• Ability to effectively represent Sustainment Engineering within the Sustainment Operationsorganization, including to the Line of Business Integrators.
• Ability to organize and motivate a diverse set of individuals as "team players" to act as "one" inthe pursuit of common objectives.
• Experience in MUO and/or PHM is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in development and leadership of Independent and Self-Motivatedteams.
• Experience with Earned Value and proposal development.

• Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.

• Experience supporting a government customer and wide variety of customers.
• Operational Excellence (OpEx)/Accelerating Performance Excellence (APEX) experience orGreen/Black Belt training or certification.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
