Well established north shore Mom and Pop bakery seeking a friendly, dependable and works well with others person to be a bakery sales clerk.
Candidate skills include:
- Greeting customers and offering assistance-First and Foremost
- Answering questions and recommending products to customers.
- Oral communication skills to answer questions clearly and concisely
- Customer service skills to handle customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner
- Cleaning of bakery counters, shelves, and cases as wells as getting store ready for next day service
- Multitasking skills to serve customers efficiently during busy periods
- Attentiveness to detail to ensure that food items are prepared and packaged correctly
- Computer skills to operate pricing systems and process customer payments
- Knowledge of food service health and safety standards
