FDT takes a client-focused approach, utilizing innovative strategies to provide practical legal solutions. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site, role for a Land Use and Zoning Associate at Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP with 0-3 years of experience. The Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to land use and zoning matters. This includes conducting legal research, drafting documents, preparing applications and permits, attending meetings and presenting applications at hearings, and providing legal counsel to clients in matters related to land use and zoning matters.  QualificationsBackground in Real Estate Law, zoning experience a strong plus, but will train the right candidateStrong research and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to effectively collaborate with clients and colleaguesAttention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the bar in New York StatePrior experience or internship in land use and zoning law is a plusSuccessfully completing Land Use and Zoning courses during tenure in law school a plus
