Pay Rate: $46/hr - $51/hr
Summary:
- Duration: 24-week, part-time assignment
- Shift: AM - 8 hours
- Schedule: 24 hours per week, Days - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- No weekends, no major holidays
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services within an acute care hospital setting
- Work as part of the Inpatient Rehab department, which includes PT and OT
- Manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, aiming for a goal productivity of 5.2 hours in an 8-hour day
- Provide coverage throughout the inpatient floors of the hospital
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital environment, with a preference for 2 years
- MA OT licensure
- CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider)
- Familiarity with acute care hospital settings
- Excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Comfortable working with other healthcare team members (nursing, MD, case management)
- Self-directed, flexible, and able to multitask
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- ICU experience is a bonus
- Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus
