Assembler I (FAA) – Safety Sensitive Role

Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary:

The Production Assembler I performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations under well-defined instructions. This position follows established company policies, FAA requirements, and safety procedures to produce high-quality components and assemblies.
 

Safety Sensitive Role – Subject to Random Drug Testing
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical and/or electromechanical components according to detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications. Use basic hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments as required.Perform visual and functional inspections of completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate production and inspection records as required.
Follow all FAA regulations, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient environment.
Communicate issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and meet daily production goals.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

Additional Requirements:
Safety Sensitive Role: Subject to random drug testing in compliance with FAA and company regulations.
Assessment Requirement: Must successfully complete a hands-on skills assessment to qualify for interview consideration.
