Key Requirements:
  • We are hiring a Fab Shop Manager with experience working in commercial, civil, or industrial construction environments, be familiar with basic power tools, and follow detailed instructions for the production of concrete products.
  • Must oversee fabrication processes, including cutting, welding, machining, and assembly.
  • Ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.
  • Manage and mentor shop employees (welders, machinists, fabricators)
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training when needed.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
  • Monitor usage of raw materials and tools.
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ordering supplies and materials, coordinating delivery and pick up of fabricated parts, managing.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Must be able to work independently or with a team; willingness to be flexible as needed
  • Will need Steel-Toe boots, work pants, t-shirt, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest.
  • Must be ok with a drug screen, alcohol test, and a physical.



Shifts:
  • Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm 
  • Overtime availability!


Duration:
  • Temporary to permanent
