Fabrication Worker

Working as a member of the Fabrication Dept, the Fabrication position is responsible for the cutting, bending, sanding, and drilling various parts for pontoon assembly.

There are two levels of Production Worker: Production Worker I and II determined by an individual's specialized skills, abilities, previous work experience, certification and/or education, and ability to perform multiple tasks across the fabrication department.

Individuals in this role must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
  • Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely
  • Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
  • Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
  • Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to lift 50 LBS or more with assisted team lift
  • Be able to identify/verify parts
  • Preparing skids of parts for shipment
  • Cut, Shear, Saw, Sand, Drill, and Form Parts
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Previous fabrication experience preferred
  • Experience with shop tools and equipment required.
  • Ability to read prints and drawings.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • The ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
