We are seeking a talented Fabrication Engineer to join our team. The Fabrication Engineer will be responsible for creating and designing prototypes, components, and custom products using various fabrication techniques. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical proficiency, and hands-on skills to bring concepts to life through fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, and design principles.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design Development: Collaborate with engineering, product development, and design teams to conceptualize, develop, and refine designs for fabrication. Translate conceptual ideas into detailed design drawings and specifications.Fabrication Techniques: Utilize a variety of fabrication techniques such as welding, machining, sheet metal forming, and 3D printing to produce prototypes, parts, and assemblies. Select appropriate materials and processes based on design requirements and constraints.Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation including assembly instructions, fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and material specifications. Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation for seamless production execution.Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.
