Fabrication Floor Utility Technician
Location: West Tulsa manufacturing facility
Step into a role where every day is a mix of hands-on production, problem-solving, and learning. You’ll rotate through multiple work cells, pick up new skills, and position yourself for advancement as you master different areas of the shop.
A day in the life
- Start your shift with a safety check and PPE, then stage raw materials for the day’s jobs.
- Support machine operators by loading and unloading parts, moving material, and keeping production flowing.
- Operate equipment such as burn tables, lasers, and press brakes under guidance, ensuring quality output.
- Verify dimensions using precision tools (tape measures and other measuring devices) to meet exact specs.
- Use a sit-down forklift or overhead crane to transport materials across the floor.
- Close out the day by organizing your area and preparing for the next run.
Shifts
- Day: 6:00a–4:30p Monday–Thursday and 6:00a–12:00p Friday
- Night: 3:30p–3:30a Monday–Thursday
Pay & benefits
- Base pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Night differential: +$3/hour
- Benefits: Full package offered after a waiting period
Key responsibilities
- Work across multiple areas of the manufacturing floor
- Assist operators by moving raw materials and supplies

- Measure and verify parts to precise specifications
- Operate forklift and potentially overhead crane for material handling
What you bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or construction
- Forklift operating ability
- Confident reading a tape measure; strong basic math skills
- Detail- and safety-focused; follows instructions accurately and efficiently
- Self-starter who seeks out extra responsibilities
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
