Responsibilities of the Production Worker:
The production worker supports all areas of production as directed by the foreman. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Grinding, finishing, and preparing enclosures to customer specifications
- Operating press brakes, hand & power tools to form sheet metal components
- Assembling components including hardware, gaskets, and doors.
- Verifying dimensional accuracy using precision measurement tools
- Operating a forklift to move & stage materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Documenting material and quality control issues as required
Requirements of the Production Worker:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand & power tools
- Ability to read, or willingness to learn to read production drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Manufacturing or shop experience preferred, but not required
